Tulikivi Routa-Electric Sauna Heater

Finnish soapstone cladding: The Routa is finished in Tulikivi's distinctive ribbed Finnish soapstone, quarried and manufactured in Finland. Soapstone has exceptional heat-retaining properties, absorbing heat from the elements before gradually releasing it back into the sauna. This creates a softer, more even and comfortably humid sauna experience while providing the timeless appearance of natural stone.

Optimised stone chamber: The Routa holds up to 35 kg of sauna stones. That is not huge compared with tower heaters, but it is solid for a compact wall-mounted heater and gives more thermal mass than many basic wall heaters.

Built-in protection: CE marked, meaning it meets European Union safety, health and environmental protection standards for both quality assurance and peace of mind. When paired with the Tulikivi control system, the heater incorporates several safety functions including over-temperature protection and optional door switch integration for compatible remote operation. Tulikivi electric sauna heaters are designed with a low surface temperature to improve user safety.

Control unit: Compatible with the Tulikivi Wifi touchscreen control system (sold separately) allowing convenient control of sauna temperature, operating time and other compatible functions from the touchscreen or smartphone app. The control system is available with either a single-phase or three-phase relay unit, allowing the installation to be matched to your electrical supply and heater requirements.

Set-up: Compact, wall-mounted heater. Its slim profile and minimal safety clearances of just 50 mm to side walls and 20 mm to adjacent bench structures below 900 mm provide greater flexibility when designing new saunas or upgrading existing ones, particularly where space is limited.
