IKI Pillar- Electric Sauna Heater

Made in Finland: IKI sauna heaters, crafted by IKI-Kiuas Oy in Finland, have been a respected name in the sauna world since the late 1990s. The company prides itself on creating heaters that prioritise high stone capacity, open-mesh designs, and exceptional steam quality known as löyly in Finnish. Unlike many mass-produced heaters, IKI focuses on small-batch production, ensuring meticulous attention to detail and quality.

High-performance materials: Hand-built using durable AISI 309 stainless steel for resistors and, robust, structural materials. The stainless steel, open-mesh structure facilitates superior air circulation and, rapid, even heating of stones within 45–60 minutes.

Large stone capacity: Holds a very large amount of stones (120 kg for 6kW, up to 180kg for 12kW), providing intense, long-lasting soft steam.

Energy intelligent: The large stone capacity of the IKI Pillar acts as a thermal battery, storing heat and reducing the need for constant reheating. While the initial heat-up phase may take slightly longer due to the greater volume of stones, once at temperature the heater maintains heat efficiently with less element cycling. This results in stable temperatures, excellent steam quality, and efficient energy use over a full sauna session, delivering superior comfort without increased overall power consumption.

Built-in protection: CE certified, meaning it meets European Union safety, health and environmental protection standards for both quality assurance and peace of mind. When paired with a UKU control system, the heater gains several safety functions, including overheat protection, child lock and automatic shutdown.

Control unit: Compatible with the UKU Local and UKU Wifi control panels (sold separately)
