Steam rooms are unlike any other space in your home or business and require specific design parameters to achieve both compliance with the Building Code of Australia, the manufacturer's requirements, as well as peak functionality, providing the user with an enhanced and safe experience. That’s why Sauna Steam & Ice provides design and consultation services to architects, builders and homeowners to ensure your steam room is safe, compliant and functions optimally.

Choose from these two consultation services:

Standard Steam Room Consultation: $600 inc GST

1. Materials, ventilation and insulation advice including:

• Recommendations on wall and ceiling lining options, bench styles and applied  finishes.
• Confirmation of insulation requirements and installation practice.
• Location and sizing of ventilation inlets / outlets and ducting.
• Door styles including frameless glass and glazed aluminium

2. Steam generators, lighting and audio options and power requirements including:

• Recommendations for steam generator brands, size and applications.
• Placement of steam outlets.
• Advice on lighting, including styles, location and technical requirements.
• Determination of the power supply requirements.

Steam Room Design and Consultation: $1200 inc GST

The Steam Room Design and Consultation includes all of the items listed within the  Standard Steam Room Consultation above, but with the addition of the following services:

• Floor plan and 3 internal elevations.
• Reflected ceiling plan (if lighting is to be installed into the ceiling)
• Bench plans including  sections and bench frame/support details.
• Recessed LED lighting detail to benches.
